You can go check out the full monthly women in comics stats for August over at Bleeding Cool!! Marvel came out on top again with an impressive 12.6% female creators overall, while DC returned to double digits but still trailed far behind at 10.1% female creators.
We also take a look at the female audience for comic books, both actual and potential, as we cobble together some stats from various sources. There’s not a ton of stats concerning the female audience, but from what I could find there seems to be a sizeable female fanbase and lots of potential for growth as well.
