The monthly numbers for the Big Two are up at Bleeding Cool, and it was quite a month!! Marvel broke the record for most female creators overall with 14.1%, while DC continued it’s recent rut at 10% female creators.
Since these are the September numbers, we also compare the zero issues with the New 52 from a year ago, and found that DC’s gone down in terms of their overall percentage of female creators. By category, DC was up in a few places, but while they may have bested their 2011 numbers, they were down from their 2010 numbers in most of those categories.
