Women In Comics Statistics: DC And Marvel, October 2012 In Review

bleedingcool

Our monthly review of women in comics stats is up over at Bleeding Cool, and Marvel topped DC yet again.  They came in at 12.4% female creators, while DC climbed out of their recent rut but still remained behind at 10.9% female creators.

We also take a look at female characters in Marvel NOW!’s #1 issues versus the New 52′s #1 issues, and compared both to regular pre-relaunch months for both publishers.  Marvel NOW! and the New 52 both had fewer female characters than they did before their revamps, which is a bummer.

Go over to Bleeding Cool and check out all the numerical fun!!  There’s a festively coloured chart even.
