All right, let’s get back on track here. So far, 2013 has just been ridiculous, what with the flu sticking it to me and my grandmother dying last week. Not much has been happening here, but let’s get back into the groove with a preview of Wonder Woman #16!! MTV Geek posted this five page peek at the issue, which in typical 2013 fashion was a hassle to copy and paste but the mission was accomplished so let’s take a look:

So that is a lot of flies!! If insects wig you out, this might not be the issue for you. That is some serious swarming!!
Then the First Born busts up a bunch of ice giants for a while before one of them finally gets a good shot in. The giants were sent by Hades, so he must’ve had a part in the First Born’s imprisonment.
So we’ve got lots of bugs and a fun fight scene. No startling revelations, but this is just the first few pages. You can get the entire book on Wednesday at comic shops everywhere!!

I can’t help but notice that DC really isn’t promoting this book like they used to. Well, I guess its probably not in their best interest to try to give more exposure to a WW who’s emotionally mature, nuanced and in no need of Superman’s companionship or his guidance.
Glad to see you back, Tim. And once again, my best wishes to you and your family.

Thanks for the best wishes
And yeah, we’re not hearing much about Wonder Woman lately unless it’s preceded by “Superman and”. The main title feels a little backburnered.
