Is The Cover For Scooby-Doo Team-Up #5 Featuring Wonder Woman The Best Cover Of The Year?

When Scooby-Doo Team-Up #5 was announced in the solicits a few months back, it came with a generic cover that didn’t feature Wonder Woman at all. But now, thanks to J. Torres’ twitter feed, we’ve got a look at the proper cover, and it is amazing:

Daphne and Velma in Amazon armour variations of their regular costumes is just spectacular, as is Scooby-Doo in his Leonidas-esque gear. A Scooby-Doo/Wonder Woman team-up is super fun in and of itself, but these rad costumes are pushing the awesomeness to a whole new level.

In case you’ve forgotten, here’s what’s going on in the issue:

Wonder Woman’s homeland is under attack by mythological monsters that vanish into thin air before the Amazon warriors can fight back! Scooby, Wonder Woman and the gang must work together to solve this mystery…assuming Daphne and Velma complete their Amazon training in time!

I absolutely cannot wait to see who’s under the masks of these mythological monsters. Maybe it will be Old Man Dr. Psycho, or Circe, disguised as the Amazon’s janitor, disguised as a monster. So many options!

This issue sounds like it will be an absolute blast, so be sure to check it out this Wednesday online or in comic shops everywhere!
